Starling Murmurations

My collection of Starling Murmurations is inspired by the spectacle of these birds flocking to roost at dusk in the UK winter.

I am fascinated in the way the birds fly together creating the most unpredictable shapes and pulsations against the evening sky. The experience in nature has inspired me to create my own murmuration using marks of acrylic paint on paper. I begin to paint and the shapes and pulsations begin to take shape.

These pictures can be purchased separately or would look great as a group of three or six creating you own unique murmuration.
