NEW PAINTINGS, FROM THE AIR 'skycapes above the clouds'
London based artist Leigh Glover is a painter working primarily in oils, but also in watercolour and pencil. Leigh is a "painterly painter" with a notable freedom and looseness in his work displaying a keen sense of colour and movement. He is motivated to observe and portray landscapes and sitters with a sense of life. Through the use of colour and brush strokes he achieves an animated scene or character on canvas.

Leigh completed a Diploma of Portrait Painting at the Heatherley's School of Fine Art in London and in 2007 and left there with the Portrait Diploma Prize. One of his oil paintings was selected for the Royal Institute of Oil Painters exhibition 2007. In 2008, Leigh again had a notable achievement when another one of his portraits (this time pencil) was selected by the prestigious Royal Society of Portrait Painters for their annual exhibition.
